Africa Community In Surrey and Sussex Presents ‘Life in the UK’

Following the fantastic get-together held by ACISS in December 2022, the community has yet again launched 2023 with a breathtaking event, tagged ‘Life in the UK.’

The event which was targeted at bringing its community members up to date with the available opportunities in the area in terms of Education, Health, Social Welfare, Immigration and Housing also provided a free health check to all participants. Participants also enjoyed an insightful session with the four speakers from Growing Health Together.

The January 28th event was a successful one with all thanks to: Dr Gillian Orrow of Growing Health Together, Tracey Agnew of Reigate and Banstead, Yemisi Jenkins MBE from the Home Office and Stanley Onwuje from Casgo Connections Recruitment Agency, Horley Library, Reigate and Banstead News Horleytown, Growing Health Together, Reigate and Banstead Council, Home Office, among others.

Speaking on the aim of the community, Bola Odunuga, the convener of ACISS said, “Africa Community in Surrey and Sussex (ACISS) is an organisation that aims to bring ethnic minorities that live in the area together, as well as build love and support for one another.
