Fella Dela Precious Makafui was born in Anfoega Akukome, a small village in the Volta Region, Ghana on the 12th of August, 1995. She is a Ghanaian actress, business mogul and a philanthropist.
The 27-year-old owns a Wine Shop, a clothing line called FM (Fella Makafui) and a Salon known as ‘Beauty by Fella’. Alongside all of these, she also owns a real estate company called Rich Hills Property, a company called FM Deliveries and a production company called Fella Makafui Productions.
She is rose to fame for her role in YOLO (You Only Live Once), a Ghanaian television hit series and has ever since, featured in several other movies.
She had both her primary and junior high school education in her village before proceeding to Kpando senior high school to complete her secondary school education. During her days at Kpando Senior High School, she did a course titled “General Arts” and was even made the entertainment prefect afterwards. This is where she realised her passion for entertainment industry. She furthered her education to the University of Ghana but left to focus on her acting career.
She started her career as a model and later went into acting.
During the lockdown, Fella and her husband, Medikal took to the streets of Accra to share welfare packages such as, toiletries, sanitisers among others to people.
The duo also donated some of the items to the Ghana police service branch in Accra.
At a time, Fella also donated 20 desks and 400 practice books, alongside other stationeries to Yikurugu School.
In 2018, the actress was named brand ambassador of Castle Gate Ghana limited. She also once signed a GHC500,000 ambassadorial deal with Crystal Galaxy College for 2 Years and in July 2020, she signed as a brand ambassador for Pinamang Cosmetics.
She once provided some construction items, toiletries and other consumable items to the society. Through her foundation, Fella Makafui Foundation, donated bags of cement to her hometown for the revitalisation of a community center. Record also has it that she donated food and toiletries as a means of support to Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
She also donated desks, exercise books and several other stationeries to Yikurugu school, in a joint effort with Gh One Tv to help school children that couldn’t afford the basic necessities needed for school.
Fella won her first award as Ghana’s most promising actress at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016 and won her second award as the most promising actress at the Golden Movie Awards the year after.
In 2018, she was honoured by the law students union of Kings University College for her charity work and also as a formidable actress during their awards and dinner night.
She is married to the singer and rapper, Medikal and their union was blessed with a baby girl, Island on 8th of August, 2020.
