Debo Ogundoyin is a Nigerian politician. He currently sits as the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Nigeria. Born in 1987 he is the youngest speaker of the houses of assembly in Nigeria, a feat he achieved in the year 2019 at age 32.
The Eruwa-born Speaker attended Vale College, Ibadan for secondary education, and Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, where he studied Agronomy for his undergraduate degree.
While in London for further studies, he co-managed DREMO with Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, and ran a record label with him until 2018. He was elected to the state House of Assembly in 2018.
The laudable achievements of Ogundoyin and other legislators of a similar age as himself have allayed the fears of the young generations to delve into politics, thereby reassuring them of their readiness to take on the wheels of leadership.
