Naira Marley Announces Virtual Event For Marlian Day

by Duke Magazine

Nigerian music star, and one of the influencers of today’s Pop culture, Naira Marley, has officially announced a FREE Online concert for Marlian Day on Saturday, May 30, 2020. The show that is sponsored by Marlian Music and Gidi Fest, will be produced by Eclipse Live.

Marlian Day is a commemoration of the resilience and liberty of Nigerians’ daily struggle, especially amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Notable of those to be celebrated are the heroic frontline workers making individual sacrifices daily to help Nigeria and the entire humanity fight the virus.

Social Media and different online platforms have become the indispensable channel for artists to perfectly stay connected with their fans. In apposite similitude to Tory Lanez’s Live quarantine tour earlier this month in Milan, Naira Marley will also be holding the Live music event in Lagos to his fans at home from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Ready to make his debut at the upcoming Gidi Culture Festival, Naira Marley has shown an early indication of the festival’s London-Lagos connection, with a natural synergy between his fans, Marlians, and The Gidi Tribe. They are the acclaimed new African generation who do not take a ‘No’ for an answer and are challenging the status quo to uplift and push themselves forward.

Apparently, Naira Marley’s adaptability, controversial lyrics and uniqueness has made him one of the most sought after artists in Africa. His live Online concert will thereby feature his hit tracks “Soapy”, “Tesumole”, Marlians anthem “Opotoyi” as well as featuring special features from WurlD, Zinolesky, and Zlatan with the Marlian stars.
