A Nigerian, Olujimi Fafowora broke UK Varsity record as he graduated with a first-class honours degree at the University of Oxford, England.
Olujimi graduated summa cum laude in mathematics at St. Peter’s College, Oxford, thereby, becoming the second Nigerian to have ever made a first at in the school.
Olujimi last year was appointed a Fellow of the College. He will however remain at the college for one more year in pursuance of his post-graduate studies.
The 21-year old is the grandson of Ambassador and Mrs Dapo Fafowora. The former being a Commonwealth Scholar at Trinity College, Oxford from 1969-1972.
Ambassador Fafowora, the grandfather while speaking on Olujimi’s great feat stated that they are proud of him. According to him, “Before Oxford, he was at Haberdashers College, a private school in London from where he obtained nine distinctions on his O levels, and four A levels distinctions. We are very proud of him. ”
