Nigerian afrobeat star, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid has broken another record as he emerges as the first artist to ever serve as the headlining act at Gamer8, the world largest gaming convention in Saudi Arabia.
The event which is currently ongoing holds at the famous NXT LVL Arena, Riyadh Boulevard, Saudi Arabia.
The gaming festival features competitions, entertainment and cultural events. It began on July 14 and will end on September 8, 2022.
A couple of weeks after Wizkid was announced as the headlining act for the incoming Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, New York, he gave a performance at the gaming event.
At the event, Wizkid will perform alongside other world-renowned artists such as Dave, (a British rapper and vocalist who will perform as the opening act on September 9), Future, (an American rapper who is to perform on September 10) while Wizkid is to wrap up the three-day event on September 11.
