Before a funeral procession and private burial scheduled for Tuesday, hundreds of supporters flocked to the Vila Belmiro, the stadium where Pele’s longtime club, Santos, plays. There, the coffin containing the remains of “O Rei” (The King) was displayed in the center of the field.
